Targeting the Kinome

Today we attended a few lectures from the international Targeting the Kinome Congress held in the Basel Messezentrum by Novartis and the FMI. It was very interesting, being the first bigger event of that sort I went too... We only went to 3 Lectures (By Mike Hall, George Thomas and Heidi Lane) of the TOR Session. Prof. Hall's talk was very informative and straightforward. George Thomas' talk was much more dense but still pretty good, although you could not really say that about Lane's... It seemed she tried to fit too much into the hour so that she had to rush through it, hammering it onto the audience. After all it was a nice experience, luckily we didn't have to be there the last 3 whole days, I guess that can get a bit exhausting.
